Asheville Community Acupuncture provides Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and integrative healing techniques. Both private treatments and community room treatments are available. |
Our Mission: We offer sliding scale fees as a service to our community. It is unfortunate that in our culture, acupuncture treatment (and health care in general!) are too expensive for most people to afford. We’re here to change that. We offer affordable prices in order to make acupuncture accessible to you and your family. Acupuncture works best when it is done frequently and regularly. Our sliding scale can allow you to come as often as required in order for you to get better and stay better. |
Treating Children. Children respond really well to Chinese Medicine! We work with all ages, from infants on up. We offer either treatments with needles or sho-ni-shin, a Japanese style that does not puncture the skin. In addition, we offer herbal medicine, which is very effective for many childhood ailments. |
*Booking online. Online booking is available for community room appointments. To schedule private or pediatric appointments, please call us at 828-777-8804. |
| We changed our name! Little did I know when I started Community Acupuncture back in 2000 that other folks out there were having the same idea. With the same name! Now there is a full-fledged movement going on across the U.S. promoting affordable, accessible acupuncture for the people. There are several Community Acupunctures that have opened around the country and now there’s even a Community Acupuncture Network to help the cause. (Cool, huh? It’s the 100th monkey!) So, now we’re Asheville Community Acupuncture, and proud to be a part of a wonderful movement.
