Your health and safety is our number one priority. As always, we are grateful you have chosen to entrust us with your care. We are continually adapting our Covid-19 protocols and taking necessary precautions put forth by the CDC, NC and Buncombe County Departments of Health and Human Services, as well as our state (NCALB) and national (NCCAOM) acupuncture oversight bodies.
All patients must properly wear a face mask when in our clinic.
We are currently not able to accommodate medical exemptions for wearing face masks. If you have a medical exemption and would like to see us as a new patient or a returning patient, please call us to get on our notification list. We will call to notify you when it's safe for you to return (we will also update this website).
We continue to space appointments, currently there can be up to two patients in a room, spaced 15 feet apart, all need to be wearing face masks properly.
If any of the following apply to you, we consider you potentially contagious and require you refrain from coming to the clinic:
- Symptoms of cough, fever, chills, sore throat, difficulty breathing, swollen glands
- You are awaiting Covid-19 test results
- You have had close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19 within 14 days
- You OR someone in your household has traveled on an airplane in the last 2 weeks
All patients can greatly help us by bringing a clean bedsheet, blanket, and a pillowcase. This greatly helps with our laundry demands but we do have them if you forget. Thank you!

Our Mission: We offer affordable prices in order to make acupuncture accessible to you and your family. Acupuncture works best when it is done frequently and regularly. Our sliding scale can allow you to come as often as required in order for you to get better and stay better.
What to Expect at Community Acupuncture: At your first acupuncture appointment we will consult with you about your health history. We will go over your treatment goals and answer any questions you may have. You will have a brief opportunity, at every appointment, to check in privately with your practitioner. After the consultation we will move into the community treatment room. Most of our treatments are done in recliners but we do have a couple of treatment tables that may be reserved by calling ahead. We ask that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up over the knees and elbows. We offer blankets, silk foot coverings, hand supports, eye pillows, weighted lap blankets, music and ear plugs. After your practitioner inserts the needles you will be given a bell or chime. Treatments last approximately 30-60 minutes. We respectfully request that you are still and quiet while you are receiving your treatment. We will remove your needles when your session is complete.
Please download the new client paperwork or come in 15 minutes early for your first appointment to fill out paperwork at our clinic.
