Asheville Community Acupuncture provides Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and integrative healing techniques. Treatments are provided in a community room setting. We have sliding scale fees and are open almost every day, including evening & weekend hours.
We offer affordable prices in order to make acupuncture accessible to you and your family. Acupuncture works best when it is done frequently and regularly. Our sliding scale can allow you to come as often as required in order for you to get better and stay better.
What to Expect at Community Acupuncture: At your first acupuncture appointment we will consult with you about your health history. We will go over your treatment goals and answer any questions you may have. You will have a brief opportunity, at every appointment, to check in privately with your practitioner. After the consultation we will move into the community treatment room. Many of our treatments are done in recliners but we also have massage tables We ask that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up over the knees and elbows. After your practitioner inserts the needles you will be given a bell. Treatments last approximately 30-60 minutes. We respectfully request that you are still and quiet while you are receiving your treatment. We will remove your needles when your session is complete. We ask that you kindly avoid using strong fragrances, including scented laundry products, as they may exacerbate symptoms for others.

We at Asheville Community Acupuncture want to recognize the very personal as well as collective impacts of Hurricane Helene. We are seeing and feeling it, alongside everyone else in this region. We are also seeing and feeling the incredible coming together, the mutual aid, the care, and the out-pouring of love from so many. Connected, we are resilient! We give thanks every day that we live in this special place with such special people.
We are so glad to be here doing what we know and love to do—caring for our community with Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. We have our regular appointments available as well as $10 ear acupuncture (very grounding!)

Recovery is going to take a long time and we as individuals will go through many stages, both physically, emotionally, and for many of us, financially. Please feel comfortable reaching out about treatment even if you can't meet the low end of our sliding scale right now. Alternatively, if you can pay the higher end of the sliding scale (or above) when you book an appointment, please do! It will help us stay afloat financially, and also help us help others who are less financially able. You can also just plain DONATE or buy someone a Gift Certificate. We are all beautifully interconnected and every little bit of support ripples out to our community and beyond. Thank you!
