Maggie is an acupuncturist and herbalist who combines her training in Chinese medicine with her personal experience living with chronic illness to help others feel better and more vital no matter what life brings them. She understands there is no one-size-fits-all answer to nourishing wellness and enjoys tailoring treatments to each individual, addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She values an approach that encourages gentleness and empowers patients to understand and influence the variables that feed into their conditions.

When she’s not in the clinic, Maggie enjoys playing tennis, kayaking, hiking, and working on computer programming projects. She has been living with type 1 diabetes for over 25 years and loves mentoring newly-diagnosed children and adults. Aside from her acupuncture career, Maggie has also worked for nonprofits supporting people with HIV/AIDS, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ older adults. She values inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and building community.
